(AP Photo/File)As Canada's military prepares to engage the Islamic State terrorist group ISIS overseas, the battle has taken another turn closer to home, where threats have been leveled and security agents recently detailed the task they faced in monitoring as many as 80 suspects currently on Canadian soil. The head of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) recently confirmed the number of people who have returned to Canada after visiting violent regions around the world. According to QMI Agency, Michel Coulombe said the spy agency knows exactly where each of those suspects is.

Councillor wants new moratorium on body rub parloursA temporary moratorium may soon be placed on business licenses for new body rub parlours in Edmonton to give a task force more time to study the issue. Scott McKeen is worried that new licenses will be issued before members of a task force studying the issue can come up with recommendations. A moratorium could come as welcome news to McCauley residents who have been fighting to keep adult massage parlours out of their central Edmonton neighbourhood.

Canadian Luka Magnotta, 32, has admitted to killing and dismembering Chinese student Jun Lin, videotaping the acts and mailing parts of the body to elementary schools and to two political parties. He is pleading not guilty due to mental illness. ...
